Like most small business owners, you do not want to wait to get back to yur office to send out the estimates. 

 

There is a workaround that will let you to send QuickBooks Online estimates from your smartphone device, which is easy-to-use, does not require you to purchase an app or sync some third party software application. 

 

Just make some minor modifications to  your preferences for invoicing, items and set up a new account in your chart of accounts. Also, you will need to add a procedure each month to properly account for the estimates. If you adhere to these  recommendations then you will be able to send QuickBooks Online estimates from your smart phone or iPad.

1. View the Sales by Product Service Detail Report from QuickBooks Online estimates.

2. Review your list of QuickBooks Onlineestimates.

3. Export or print  the estimates to enable you to keep a copy to follow up

4. Identify  estimates and then void them

5. Check and account for sequence invoice numbers and estimate numbers.

 

If you follow these procedures this workaround will work for you. And more importantly, you will be able to use your iPhone, iPad,Blackberry or Android to send online estimates to customers anytime from almost anywhere.These  monthly procedures should not be time-consuming and you will ne able to use the QuickBooks Online estimates in your day to day activities.
