To determine if you can use  Form 1040EZ(a short tax form), we need your help, please answer these questions:

If all of your answers to the 12 questions below are yes, then you qualify to use Form 1040EZ for $45.  You have 2 choices before we prepare your tax return.

1- If you are sure that you want to use Form 1040EZ and sure you do not need to file a  Form 1040A or 1040, and sure that you do not qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit or any other tax credits or tax deductions, then simply upload your W-2  and 1099 to our secured portal or email to us, and we will prepare  your 1040EZ tax return for $45. You do not have to complete any tax organizer. We will contact you upon receipt of your tax information.

 2- Just to be sure that we don't miss any tax deductions or credits, please complete our tax organizer which is designed to help you identify  tax deductions and credits.  Please submit this page to us by pressing the send button below, and you will be sent an email with instructions to access our secured portal along and access to your interactive  tax organizer to gather your tax information.

2. Is your filing status single or married filing jointly. If you were a nonresident alien at any time in 2009, see Nonresident aliens below. [Yes or No]. *
3. You did not claim any dependents ? [Yes or No]. *
4. You do not claim any adjustments to income. i.e. IRA,Business Income, K-1 Use TeleTax topics 451-453 and 455-458. [Yes or No]. *
5. You claim only the earned income credit and the making work pay credit. Use TeleTax topics 601-602, 607-608, and 610-611. [Yes or No] *
6. You (and your spouse if filing a joint return) were under age 65 and not blind at the end of 2009. [Yes or No]. *
7. You had only wages, salaries, tips, taxable scholarship or fellowship grants, unemployment compensation, or Alaska Permanent Fund dividends, and your taxable interest was not over $1,500. [Yes or No]. *
8. If you earned tips, they are included in boxes 5 and 7 of your Form W-2. [Yes or No]. *
9. You did not receive any advance earned income credit payments [Yes or No]. *
10. You do not owe any household employment taxes on wages you paid to a household employee. [Yes or No]. *
11. You are not a debtor in a chapter 11 bankruptcy case filed after October 16, 2005 [Yes or No]. *
12. You are not claiming the additional standard deduction for real estate taxes, net disaster losses, or qualified motor vehicle taxes. [Yes or No]. *

If after you complete our  tax organizer  and conclude you can still file Form 1040EZ, then the fee will be $45.  If you do not qualify to use the Form 1040EZ please see our  price listing for the costs for each additional tax form and schedules. 

Notes:
Nonresident aliens.   If you were a nonresident alien at any time in 2009, your filing status must be married filing jointly to use Form 1040EZ. If your filing status is not married filing jointly, you may have to use Form 1040NR or 1040NR-EZ. Specific rules apply to determine if you were a nonresident or resident alien. See Pub. 519 for details, including the rules for students and scholars who are aliens.
