Pre-Audits and Accounting Clean-up
Changes in your financial services personnel sometimes causes delays in meeting your financial statement deadlines to banks,regulators,owners,etc.. Our audit readiness, including management's assessments over internal controls over financial reporting(ICFR) services, are provided by an accountant with over 35 years of experience with public and private companies, including preparation and filing of Forms 10K, 10Q, 8K and private placement memorandums who is able to assist in these types of pre-audit process. Our pre-audits are performed by a professional with private financial reporting and SEC reporting experience, who is experienced with periodic filings and Registration Statements.
We believe that effective communication with the owner, the company's financial services staff, the auditors and the audit committee results in in a timely filing and meeting your deadlines and less stress though the effective management of expectations. In addition to audit readiness services our financial services includes being able to quickly address one-offs projects on a short notice, such as preparing Forms 8-K’s, pro formas, financial models for acquisitions and being able to function as an interim or oursourced CFO or controller or outside business consultant for discrete projects. We are also able to provide accounting clean-up services to repair and suggest improvements to out of balance accounting and financial reporting systems.
These accounting clean-up services are typically provided prior to performing the audit readiness and pre-audit services. Experience would suggest that if you have these symptoms such as, inaccurate financials statements,constant excuses for delays in financial statement preparation or even an unreconciled bank account or intercompany accounts that do not agree, then you are a candidate for accounting clean-up services. Quite often accounting clean-up services require a considerable amount of time and should not be postponed. Do not postpone the inevitable, you need to schedule an appointment to obtain an estimate of the time it will take to perform the accounting clean-ups services, in advance of the annual audit or as soon as you need to have your accounting records and financial reporting systems operating effectively.
